Northside Christian College, an independent Christian day school in Bundoora, Victoria, aimed to modernise its brand to better reflect its values and vision, creating a cohesive, contemporary identity to enhance the school's image and community presence.
In 2020, Northside Christian College engaged Think Graphics to explore a new visual identity in anticipation of the College's upcoming expansion and new facilities. Through a series of strategic discussions, we defined a direction to modernize the school’s logo and overall image, aiming for consistent application across all internal and external communications. The objective was to maintain the College’s Christian ethos and longstanding legacy while crafting a premium and exclusive outward appearance.
The process of developing Northside Christian College's style guide was collaborative and thorough. Think Graphics began with consultations to understand the school's values, mission, and expansion needs. Extensive research into contemporary design trends informed the creation of visual concepts that balanced modern aesthetics with the school's Christian ethos. After rounds of feedback and revisions, a unified design direction was chosen. The style guide detailed the new logo, colour palette, typography, signage, way finding and usage guidelines for various mediums, ensuring consistency and a premium appearance across all communications. The final document guides the College's communications, reinforcing its renewed identity.
